Vinge advises Ardagh in connection with the acquisition of Impress Metal Packaging

Vinge has advised Ardagh Corporate Services Limited in connection with Ardagh Glass' acquisition of Impress Metal Packaging for approximately EUR 1.7 billion. 

Impress is a company with global operations in the metal packaging industry. Ardagh Glass is currently the third largest glass packaging supplier in Europe. Following the acquisition, the company will have 81 production facilities and enjoy a leading market position with sales of EUR 3 billion and 14,000 employees. The operations will be conducted under the name, Ardagh Packaging Group. The transaction is conditional uipon the requisite approvals from the European and US competition authorities.
 
Vinge's team consisted of Mikael Ståhl, Björn Gustavsson, Albert Wållgren, Elin Hjort, Andreas Malmberg and Christina O Rosén.

Vinge has advised Stockholm Exergi in connection with the conclusion of a permanent carbon removal agreement with Microsoft, covering 3.33 million tonnes of permanent carbon removals from bio-energy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS) at Värtan, Stockholm. The agreement is the world’s largest permanent carbon removal deal to date.
