Vinge advises Axcel VI in connection with the three parallel acquisitions of Installationsgruppen, Ventab and Ventilationsprojekt

Vinge has advised Axcel VI in connection with the three parallel acquisitions of Installationsgruppen Partners AB, Ventab Partners AB and Ventilationsprojekt i Sverige AB, which creates a leading installation group within HVAC, sprinkler and building automation.

The newly formed group, by the name Currentum, has a turnover of approximately SEK 900 million with over 300 employees. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.

Vinge’s team consisted primarily of partner Christina Kokko and associates Karl Klackenberg, Hannah Kajlinger and Carl Fredrik Wachtmeister (M&A), partner Mikael Ståhl and associate Karl-Gustaw Tobola (Financing), Lisa Hörnqvist (Commercial Agreements), Isak Willborg (Construction), Ebba Svenburg (Employment), Olof Löfvenberg (Real Estate and Environment), Johan Wahlbom (Competition Law), and Viktoria Owetz Leyva (VDR-assistant).

 Vinge has advised Stockholm Exergi in connection with the conclusion of a permanent carbon removal agreement with Microsoft, covering 3.33 million tonnes of permanent carbon removals from bio-energy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS) at Värtan, Stockholm. The agreement is the world’s largest permanent carbon removal deal to date.
