Vinge advises John Bauer Organization AB in connection with its acquisition of Kompetensutvecklingsinstitutet Sverige AB

Vinge has advised John Bauer Organization AB in connection with its acquisition of Kompetensutvecklingsinstitutet Sverige AB (KUI). John Bauer Organization AB is one of Sweden’s leading education companies focusing on both youth and adult education. The group comprises a total of 32 upper secondary schools and the John Bauer schools in Ystad and Skellefteå are the largest upper secondary schools in Sweden. The acquisition of KUI has enabled John Bauer Organization to establish a new operational area for the company’s adult education operations with education courses in nursing and healthcare, pre-school and health services.

Vinge’s team consisted of partner Daniel Rosvall and several associates including Philip Watson and Oskar Bellani.

Vinge has advised Stockholm Exergi in connection with the conclusion of a permanent carbon removal agreement with Microsoft, covering 3.33 million tonnes of permanent carbon removals from bio-energy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS) at Värtan, Stockholm. The agreement is the world’s largest permanent carbon removal deal to date.
