Vinge advises KLP Fastigheter in connection with the acquisition of Radisson SAS Royal Viking Hotel in Stockholm

Vinge has advised KLP Fastigheter AB in connection with the acquisition of the property designated as Pennfäktaren 12 in central Stockholm from RBS Nordisk Renting. Most of the property includes the five star Radisson SAS Royal Viking Hotel.

KLP Fastigheter AB is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Norwegian company, KLP Eiendom AS, which is one of Norway’s largest property owners. KLP Eiendom AS is owned in turn by KLP Forsikring, which is one of Norway’s largest life insurance companies.

KLP Fastigheter AB was advised by partners Stefan de Hevesy and Patrick Forslund together with associate, Anders Frick.

 Vinge has advised Stockholm Exergi in connection with the conclusion of a permanent carbon removal agreement with Microsoft, covering 3.33 million tonnes of permanent carbon removals from bio-energy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS) at Värtan, Stockholm. The agreement is the world’s largest permanent carbon removal deal to date.
