Vinge advises Svea Ekonomi in connection with acquisition of Payson

Vinge has advised Svea Ekonomi in connection with the acquisition of the payment services company, Payson AB. Following the acquisition, Svea Ekonomi will be able to offer several online payment services to corporate customers and private individuals. Payson launched its online service in 2004 and is currently one of Sweden’s leading actors in this area with more than 5 000 online stores and almost 2 000 accounts for private individuals. Payson and Svea Ekonomi’s existing services within online payments, SveaWebPay, will have an aggregate turnover of approximately SEK 100 from day one. The acquisition of Payson is subject to the consent of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority.

Vinge has advised Stockholm Exergi in connection with the conclusion of a permanent carbon removal agreement with Microsoft, covering 3.33 million tonnes of permanent carbon removals from bio-energy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS) at Värtan, Stockholm. The agreement is the world’s largest permanent carbon removal deal to date.
