Vinge’s partners at the Stockholm office have elected Håkan Borgenhäll as a new partner. Borgenhäll is one of Sweden’s foremost lawyers within the field of intellectual property rights (IP rights) and he has extensive experience in various IP proceedings and strategies.

We are very happy and proud that Borgenhäll has chosen to become a partner at Vinge. Now when the market increasingly demands Vinge’s complete full service offer, we see this as a key recruitment which will benefit Vinge’s clients, says Maria-Pia Hope, Managing Partner at the Stockholm Office.

Håkan Borgenhäll was formerly partner at Lindahl in Stockholm where he has been managing its IP rights group since 2009. Prior thereto, Borgenhäll was employed by the law firm RydinCarlsten for 18 years. RydinCarlsten merged with Lindahl in 2009. In October 2012, Håkan Borgenhäll was appointed by the Minister for Justice to assist as an expert in the Swedish government’s commission regarding the Unitary Patent and Unified Patent Court as well as drafting a new Patent Act for the EU.

Borgenhäll will start working at Vinge after agreement with Lindahl and he will then become head of Vinge’s new IP rights group at the Stockholm office.
